Bat Removal in South Lakeland, FL
A different building stock
South Lakeland's growth is much more recent than the historic core, and the housing reflects it. Barrel and Spanish tile roofing is common, and the open void at each tile course end gives bats a sheltered roost that does not require getting into the attic at all.
That changes the diagnosis. On these properties the staining often appears on an exterior wall below the roof edge with no sign of activity inside the attic, because the colony never entered the attic space.
Sealing tile correctly
Tile ends are closed with purpose made closures rather than mortar or foam, which would trap moisture in the roof system. On newer roofs still under warranty the method matters for more than just the bats.
